Free DSDA quick and easy introduction into what it takes to explore the underwater world and a great way to take time out and de-stress at exam time!  

You learn the basic safety guidelines and skills needed to dive in our pool under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional. 

You will:

Go over the scuba equipment you use to dive.
Find out what it’s like to breathe underwater.
Learn key skills that you’ll use during every scuba dive.
Have fun swimming around and exploring.

When can is it?

You can choose any of the following sessions:

Wednesday 13th November 9am

Friday 15th November 3pm

Saturday 16th November 4pm

How long does it take?

2-3 hours depending on the size of the group.

Where is it?

The PADI Discover Scuba Session is conducted in our heated dive pool at 2 Wharf St Dunedin.

Who can do it?

Any current year 11,12 or 13 student interested in having a go at diving is eligible for this offer.

Medical

All student divers complete a Discover Scuba Liability and Medical Questionnaire.

Language Requirements

Our instructors need to give you very important safety instructions verbally in the pool and  they need to know that you fully comprehend what they are saying. If we are not confident that you will understand us please don’t be offended. It is for the safety of our instructors as well as the other divers you will be diving with.

What do i need?

As a minimum, bring your own swimsuit and towel. If you own your own wetsuit and/or other snorkelling equipment, you can bring that along too. If not, no worries, as all equipment is provided.

What to Bring:
Swimsuit and a towel
Wetsuit (if you have one)
A sense of adventure
