About Us

Being fit to dive is important for your own safety, the safety of your buddy, and the safety of your instructor.

Not everyone needs a medical signed by a doctor but if you have any questions at all you should ask your GP or a designated diving doctor. Use our Dive Otago medical flow chart to work out what medical you require.

If you are under 18 please ensure you get your parent of guardian to co-sign the form as well. If you have any questions about your medical call 0800 Dive Otago. As soon as you have completed your diving medical, take a copy for yourself return and it to Dive Otago as soon as you can.
