PADI Basic Freediver Course

With the PADI Basic Freediver Certification students will:

  • Be able to safely attend freediving club sessions both in the confined water.
  • With a buddy, practise freediving techniques in confined water (many pools require proof of certification for breath hold training)
  • be eligible to attend a PADI Freediver Course and progress your freediving skills.

Learn basic freediving principles and focus on practicing breathhold techniques in a pool.

Freediving is about inward power, discipline and control. Taking the PADI Basic Freediver course is a good introduction to the world of Freediving. To enrol in a PADI Basic Freediver course you must be at least 12 years old. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. No prior experience with snorkelling, skin diving or freediving is required.
