Club Membership 2026

Fun dives and events for people who love diving in Otago. Find a buddy, a new dive site and improve your skills with great experiences.

What the club does is buddy you up with a group of divers from all experience levels to go diving with on a regular basis. We organize scheduled shore dives and a Club Membership provides you with a whole bunch of benefits to make diving as simple as we can. Once you are signed up you can join our Facebook Group, keep updated with upcoming dives and events via email, find out what's going on in the dive community, find a dive buddy and join us for club dive days!

• Bring a friend days, where you can bring a friend into Dive Otago for a Free Discover Scuba in our pool

Prerequisites

Certification
PADI Open Water Diver or PADI Junior Open Water (or equivalent)

Experience
Coldwater Experience < 17°C or 62°F and a logged dive in the last 18 months

Mask and snorkel

Communication
Once you are signed up you can join our Facebook Group, Keep updated with up coming dives and events via email, find out whats going on in the dive community, find a dive buddy and join us for club dive days!

Schedule
It's really up to the group so if you are keen, we'll do the organising and all you have to do is turn up.

Meet at 9am sharp!

Membership Options

Equipment membership
$199 for 12 months | $149 for 6 Months

$20 to hire of all required equipment (excluding mask, snorkel and tanks) for every club dive day (usually $100).

Equipment is first in first served and on some days there will be less equipment available due to the courses we have running so we ask that members let us know in advance of the dive day so we can make sure equipment is available for them.

Standard Membership
$75 for 12 months | $50 for 6 months

Club Membership only

On the Dive Day - All Members
Tanks | $15 per tank (Usually $20)

On the Dive Day - Equipment Membership
Equipment Hire | $20 for all equipment except mask, snorkel and $15 per tank (Usually $100+)
