See what's below the surface. Just throw on a wetsuit, strap on a mask, snorkel and fins, and you can be part of the other two thirds of the planet! We offer introductory and certification programmes for snorkelling. Have fun in the pool or combine it with an Open Water experience.

Minidippers
Minidippers is the New Zealand Underwater Association approved children's snorkelling course which teaches children all they need to know to snorkel safely and enjoy the underwater adventures NZ has to offer. The 6 hour Minidippers programme is offered to schools and community groups, with custom courses for family members and friends. Children receive their own Minidippers pack including personalised certificate, booklet, sticker and quiz sheets, so that participants can feel proud of their Minidipper achievements.

PADI Scuba Diver >

Keen to dive but time is limited? The Scuba Diver certification course allows you to dive around the world under the supervision of a PADI professional. You complete three knowledge development modules and two sea dives. A great way to get into diving, knowing a PADI professional will organise your dive so all you need to do is relax and enjoy intense adventure. You can then complete the full Open Water Diver Course when time permits.

PADI Advanced Open Water>

A new world of adventure opens up now that you are a certified diver. Maybe photography interests you, exploring historic wrecks, diving at night or learning the handy skills of search and recovery. Each Adventure Dive can be credited towards a Specialty certification. Collect 5 including Deep and Navigation and you can be certified as an Advanced diver. Expand your skills in the real environment. Complete 3 Adventure Dives and become an Adventure Diver or complete 5, including Deep and Navigation and become an Advanced Open Water Diver.

Adventures in Diving programmes are offered at our fantastic local dive sites or as weekend trips to magnificent Milford Sound or scenic Stewart Island.

Underwater Naturalist – expand your knowledge of local marine life

Underwater Photography – Take photos on film both wide angle and macro
